The commemoration is for relatives of victims of the 2001 and 1993 attacks, who have also been invited to participate in the reading of the names of this year.The ceremony will stop at six times - twice to mark the times that each plane struck the towers, twice to mark the times that each tower fell, and on the occasion of the attacks against the Pentagon and Flight 93.
Be the first moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. and the churches will ring their bells.
A guard of honour formed by people who represent the Department's Fire Department (FDNY), Police Department (NYPD), and the port authority Police Department (PAPD) will participate in the ceremony.
9/11 Memorial Museum will open its doors to members of the family of the victims, starting at 7 am. The ceremony will end approximately at 12:30 p.m.
The tribute in light will shine for one night as a tribute to those who died on 9/11. The lights are located in West and Morris in lower Manhattan streets. The Memorial will reopen to the public at 3 p.m. and close at midnight. The lights will be starting at dusk on September 11 and disappearing in the early hours of September 12.
